Congratulations are in order for Jerry Seinfeld. Almost 20 years after giving up his sitcom, he is still raking in the dough. He is at the very top of Forbes’ annual list of the top 10 highest paid comedians in the world. He managed to make $69 million dollars in the last year. Most of that money came from his new deal with Netflix.
The streaming provider also helped Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle make it on the list. Chris took the second place with $57 million, while Dave came in after Louis CK at number 4 with $47 million.
The only woman on the list, Amy Schumer, came in 5th place with $37.5 million in the bank.
Closing out the top 10 are Kevin Hart, Jim Gaffigan, Terry Factor, Jeff Dunham and Sebastian Maniscalo.
Patton Oswalt didn’t make the list, but that isn’t stopping him from replying to our tweet asking if anyone thought he was funny. Now that’s funny.
It's just me, but I buy a LOT of tickets for my shows so I'm doing great. https://t.co/DhFuGSrPpU
