Richard Simmons is back home after spending a few days at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was in there last week battling severe indigestion.
Yesterday on Facebook he shared a “Thank you” to first responders writing, “They make you feel good even though you’re in the hospital for feeling bad.”
He gave praise to his doctors and nurses saying: “They were so helpful and kind as I returned home. Let’s take a minute and all be thankful for medical professionals, police, firefighters and our brave military forces here and around the world. They risk so much every day to make us well and keep us protected.”
Richard, best known for his Sweatin’ To The Oldies videos has vanished from the public eye in recent years but is expected to make a comeback to TV soon.
Are these the first pictures of Richard in 3 years? You be the judge:

(He looks a little bit like Michael Jackson’s son, “Blanket” unless that’s him on the left with the earrings…)
Here’s his heartfelt “thank you” posted on Facebook yesterday:
Hope you’re having a beautiful Sunday. I wanted to take a moment to send a big thank you to the wonderful doctors,…
