On April 5th, Billy Joel will play the very first concert at the newly built Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island.  (He actually played the very last show at the old Nassau Coliseum in August 2015).

That show is on top of his already popular Madison Square Garden residency and upcoming Stadium Tour.

For someone who hasn’t released a new album in almost 25 years, he sure knows how to stay busy.  (Can you believe River of Dreams was released in 1993!)

In an interview with Newsday he said, “I mean I’ve got a new baby now and I’m trying to husband my time more for having a personal life.  So I’m looking at less work…It feels like I’m entitled. I’ve been working my whole life. It’s time to slow down.”  Billy and his wife Alexis welcomed their first child, Della Rose, in 2015.

In addition to his dates at Madison Square Garden and the Nassau Coliseum, here are the upcoming stadium tour dates.  You might want to get tickets now, you never know when Billy might retire from touring.

April 28 — Cumberland, GA at SunTrust Park
May 13 — Los Angeles, CA at Dodger Stadium
July 14 — Cleveland, OH at Progressive Field
