Adele Is One of the Highest Paid Performers EVER
Rumor has it Adele is now one of the highest-paid performers EVER! She raked in over $800,000 every night on her latest world tour (and it isn’t over yet!). That equals over $15 million dollars from October 2015 to April 2016!
Adele performed 107 dates across Europe and America between February and December last year. She is in good company with other wealthy musicians, including Madonna, Bruce Springsteen and U2.
We know Adele was selling out arena after arena every night, so when the figures for the rest of the year come through we’ll let you know!
Adele still has more dates, starting an 11-date tour of Australia starting in Perth on February 28 and four nights at London’s Wembley Stadium this summer.
U2’s 360 Degrees Tour was the highest-grossing concert tour of all time, taking in more than $738 million between 2009 and 2011, but Madonna is the highest-earning performer in history thanks to her 2008 Sticky & Sweet Tour, which earned her an average of $4.75 million per night.
