It’s been less than a week since it was announced that “Wonder Woman 2” was officially going to be made, now we have the official release date.  Warner Brothers has confirmed that fans can see the new installment of the movie on December 13, 2019.

The script is currently in its early stages, and is being worked on by director Patty Jenkins and Geoff Johns.  The story is expected to take place in the United States, and be in the past, sometime after World War 1. So far, the first “Wonder Woman” has taken in almost $700 million.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Gal Gadot will return for the sequel, and will also appear as Diana Prince in November’s Justice League, alongside Ben Affleck‘s Batman, Jason Momoa‘s Aquaman, Ezra Miller‘s Flash and Ray Fisher‘s Cyborg as the DC superhero dream team.
