Tyler Perry Looking For Clues On ‘ID’
Playing a detective in the movies is nothing new for Tyler Perry, but now he’s taking his sleuthing skills to television as well. He’s going to appear in the season five premiere of Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall on the Investigation Discovery channel.
Tyler will be investigating the case of Terrance Williams, who suddenly vanished from Naples, Florida back in 2004. Around the same time, Felipe Santos also went missing. They were both seen interacting with former sheriff’s deputy Steve Calkins after traffic incidents.
Calkins claimed he dropped both men off at area convenience stores. The cold case had no leads until 2012 when the ID channel covered the story. At that point, Tyler offered a hundred thousand dollars bounty for more information.
His episode of Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall will air on September 3rd.
Can't wait for the new season to start. Proud of my team and honored to be part of the @DiscoveryID family. #countdown begins #deadlinecrime https://t.co/OpSmv8iSv3
