One of the top competitive eaters in the world, Joey Chestnut did it again!

He just won the 2017 Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest earning his 10th mustard yellow belt.

Earlier today he scarfed down 72 hot dogs in only 10 minutes (beating his record from last year of 70!)  The runner-up, Carmen Cincotti finished in second place eating “only” 62 hot dogs.

The 2015 champion, Matt Stonie finished in third place with 48 hot dogs.  (Was he even trying?!)

If you think it looks easy, imagine eating 7 hot dogs a minute!

On the women’s side, Miki Sudo ate 41 hot dogs to get her 4th consecutive victory and Michelle Lesco finished second with 32 hot dogs.

If you’re wondering what the winner gets, it is $10,000 in cash, and a stomach ache.

Congratulations to everyone!
