Taylor Swift has been vindicated. A jury in Denver ruled yesterday that former radio personality David Mueller did inappropriately touch the “Bad Blood” singer backstage at a concert in 2013.  The jury also ruled that Taylor was not responsible for getting Mueller fired from his job.

Swift received the symbolic $1 she was looking for, while Mueller, who was suing for $3 million, got nothing.

Following the verdict, Taylor thanked the judge, her lawyers and the rest of the team, and vowed to help other sexual assault victims.

She told Rolling Stone, “I acknowledge the privilege that I benefit from in life, in society and in my ability to shoulder the enormous cost of defending myself in a trial like this. My hope is to help those whose voices should also be heard.  Therefore, I will be making donations in the near future to multiple organizations that help sexual assault victims defend themselves.”

Congrats, Taylor!
