Shania Twain Explains ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’

It’s hard to believe, but Shania Twain‘s song ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’ turned 20 years old in 2017! How can that be?
Well it has taken all this time for her to finally explain WHY she chose to single out Brad Pitt in the lyrics.
She told Billboard that she decided to include the line “Okay, so you’re Brad Pitt? That don’t impress me much,” because at the time she was writing the song Pitt was embroiled in a nude photo scandal with then-girlfriend Gwyneth Paltrow and she didn’t understand why it was such a big deal.
She continued, “I just thought, well I don’t know what all the fuss is about, and this is where I took it from. I’m like, well that don’t impress me much. I mean, we see people naked every day.”
It didn’t have to be Brad, she added, “It could have been any gorgeous guy.”
