Prince’s ‘Purple Rain’ Like You’ve Never Heard It Before

Prince‘s most famous album is about to undergo a big purple makeover.
A 3-CD ‘Purple Rain’ deluxe set will include the official Paisley Park remaster of the original tapes from the soundtrack. The tapes were digitally restored in 2015, most likely by Prince himself.
The ‘From The Vault & Unreleased’ disc has 11 songs unearthed from inside of Prince’s vault and 6 tracks that have never been released. The third disc will include single edits and B-Sides and a concert DVD of Prince And The Revolution Live at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, NY from March 30th, 1985.
The re-mastered album will be available this Summer from Warner Brothers.
