The MTV Video Music Awards are set for Sunday night, with some of the biggest stars in music taking part for a huge night of music.

Hosted by Katy Perry, the event will be held at The Forum in Inglewood, California with performances by Ed SheeranAlessia CaraMiley Cyrus, Lorde, Demi Lovato, Shawn Mendes, Rod Stewart and The Weeknd.

Kendrick Lamar leads the nominees this year with 8, including one for Artist of the Year.  There is also a new gender-neutral category that’s replacing Male Video and Female Video of the Year.  The iconic “Moonman” statue is also being replaced by a “Moonperson.”

But that’s not all, Pink will perform and also receive the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, which in past years has gone to such artists as Beyoncé, Madonna, Justin Timberlake and Rihanna.
