Matt Damon To Narrate Boston Marathon Documentary
Academy Award winner Matt Damon has signed on to narrate a brand new documentary called Boston. The movie will be focused on the Boston Marathon’s long and storied history.
Directed by Jon Dunham, the documentary tells the story of the world’s oldest annual marathon, from its origins in 1897 through the tragedy of the 2013 bombing and beyond. The film will feature interviews with former marathon winners, runners and spectators. Boston will have its world premiere in Boston on April 15, two days before this year’s race, and will be shown in theaters nationwide for one night only: Wednesday, April 19, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at fathomevents.com.
