How many Marshmallow Peeps could you eat at once?
Well this man has just set a brand new World Record.
Matt Stonie ate 255 Peeps in just 5 minutes. That’s almost 1 a second!
Matt shattered his own previous record of 200 Peeps in 5 minutes from last year. (He must have been practicing.)
The 24 year old from California beat 10 others who were trying to become the Peep eating Champ. He earned $1,750 in prize money and a trophy filled with Peeps.
Take a look at the video below from the contest. Wonder if he’ll try for 300 next year? (and don’t try this at home, kids!)

It's Peeps Day at National Harbor and we are live at the World Peeps Eating Championship. There are 11 professional eaters competing today, but only one will win the coveted title of Peeps Eating Champion of the World.
