Katy Perry Waiting On Pope’s Approval

Katy Perry is waiting for Pope Francis to sign off on the sale of the Los Angeles convent she plans to turn into her new home before she can move in.
She won a legal battle over the large Los Feliz property earlier this year after nuns tried to sell the property to someone else. Currently, the archdiocese is looking for a replacement for its clergy to relocate to.
Once that happens, Katy still needs to wait for The Pope to approve the sale.
She plans to pay the archdiocese $14.5 million for the property she has been waiting to purchase since 2015.
