April The Giraffe Update: It’s A Boy…(Finally!)

Oh Baby! Janet’s not the only one with a new baby boy. After a 16 month pregnancy, weeks of labor, and millions of people watching her every move, April The Giraffe has finally given birth!
Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, NY certainly had the world standing still earlier today as their most famous resident had a baby boy.
According to their Youtube page, April is 15 years old, this is her 4th calf. The father’s name is Oliver, he’s only 5. We don’t have exact measurements of the new baby yet, but they were expecting it to be around 150 pounds and stand about 6 feet tall.
April will naturally raise the calf over the next 6 to 10 months.
