‘Dance Mom’ Abby Lee Miller Is Behind Bars

Former Dance Moms reality star Abby Lee Miller has checked herself into federal prison California this morning.

She is serving 366 days after pleading guilty for bankruptcy fraud and for not properly reporting income.

In addition to time behind bars she was also ordered to pay a $40,000 fine and spend two years on probation after her release.

According to court records, Miller was in Chapter 11 bankruptcy when she tried to hide $775,000 worth of income from her Lifetime reality show.

The investigation began when the bankruptcy judge saw Miller on TV in December 2012 and figured she had to be making more than the $8,899 in monthly income she was claiming.

She spoke to ABC news about her regrets and how she wants to spend her year in jail.  Watch that video below:
