A scary moment for Brandy Norwood this morning after she reportedly lost consciousness shortly after boarding a Delta flight at Los Angeles International Airport.

The Los Angeles Fire Department received a call about a sick passenger on a Delta flight at LAX that hadn’t yet left the gate.

TMZ reports she is in stable condition this afternoon.

Brandy was headed to New York’s JFK Airport before the medical scare.

It’s currently unclear what caused her to lose consciousness.

The 38 year old singer and actress is best known for songs such as “The Boy Is Mine” and “Have You Ever,” and for her starring role in the ’90s TV sitcom Moesha.
