Is Beyonce Buying An NBA Basketball Team?

A source close to Beyonce says she is exploring the possibility of buying ownership in the Houston Rockets NBA team.
In case you didn’t know, Beyonce is a native of Houston and she still spends a lot of time there.
Leslie Alexander, the current owner of the team, announced he is interested in selling the team. He bought the team for $85 million in 1993. No word on how much Beyonce is looking to spend, but current estimates say the team could sell for upwards of $2 billion.
Not sure if she is looking to borrow some money and go into debt, but according to Forbes, Beyonce’s net worth is only about $350 million dollars, even though she earned a whole lot of money last year.
If you add in husband Jay-Z, they are a billion dollar couple, but not a 2 billion dollar couple. There is also the possibility that they are only going to purchase partial ownership of the Rockets. Jay-Z already has some money invested into New York’s Barclays Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets.
