Selena Gomez has decided to go public with her romance with The Weeknd after months of trying to hide the relationship.
The “Bad Liar” and “I Feel It Coming” singers were spotted together for the first time in April when she shared a selfie of the couple on Instagram.
Selena says she shared the pic because she can really be herself around her new man and she doesn’t want to hide anything from her fans.
When talking to Ryan Seacrest, referring to her boyfriend as Abel (his real name), she said, “I think it’s really hard when I would want to spend so much time hiding things. It’s too much pressure, and I think everyone gets over everything eventually.”
Selena is not setting herself any particular career goals at the moment. She says, “I just want to be happy. If that’s me just being myself, then I don’t really care.”
