Just one day after NBC announced they have hired Jennifer Hudson for Season 13 of The Voice, even bigger news was revealed today.  Kelly Clarkson is joining Season 14 next Spring.  It was just the other day she was in talks to join the reboot on American Idol on ABC, but it seems that deal is now dead.

Speaking with Blake Shelton on Facebook Live, Kelly said she is done having children now, so she’s ready to join the show.

“I’ve been excited about this for a few years now, the timing hasn’t been right.”

Kelly will join longtime coaches Blake and Adam Levine for season 14 of The Voice when it premieres in 2018.   The fourth judge has not been announced, but it could very well be Blake’s significant other, Gwen Stefani.
