Katy Perry Is Joining American Idol

It’s official! Katy Perry is reportedly joining American Idol when the show returns to ABC next year. TMZ is reporting she signed a $25 million contract to be a judge on the show.
ABC tried to get Kelly Clarkson but for some reason she decided to join NBC’s The Voice instead.
We have also reported Chris Daughtry has signed up for Idol as well.
As of now, the host has not been chosen, but rumor has it ABC is close to signing a deal with Ryan Seacrest.
If he’s too busy maybe we could get a hold of Brian Dunkleman from season 1.
