Britney Spears Was Replaced By Camilla Cabello
Britney Spears was left on the cutting room floor, literally. She recorded a song with Pitbull for the upcoming Fate of the Furious soundtrack but she was replaced at the last minute by Camila Cabello (formerly of Fifth Harmony).
Luckily for Spears fans, both versions of the song “Hey Ma” might end up being released in the future. “You never know. There might be a remix with Romeo and Britney in the later future” Pitbull hinted.
Spears and Cabello first met in 2012 when Spears was a judge on season 2 of The X Factor, that was the year Fifth Harmony finished in 3rd place on the singing competition.
The Fate of the Furious opens in theaters on April 14. The soundtrack will be released on the same day.
