Robin Thicke Honors His Mother On VH-1 Special

Mother’s Day is around the corner and the perfect time to salute moms. Robin Thicke will be doing just that on an upcoming special called Dear Mama: An Event to Honor Moms.
Most people knew Robin’s dad was actor Alan Thicke but you might not know his mom is singer and actress Gloria Loring.
Robin is the first performer announced for the show, which will be hosted by Anthony Anderson and La La Anthony.
Pasadena’s Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens in California will host the second annual Mother’s Day special, produced by Queen Latifah‘s Flavor Unit and Jesse Collins Entertainment.
The show will air on Monday, May 8th at 10 PM Eastern on VH-1.
