Prince’s Ex-Wife Reveals Sad Time In Singer’s Life
Prince’s ex-wife Mayte Garcia is opening up about the years she was married to the music legend.
There is a preview of her upcoming memoir in today’s issue of People. In The Most Beautiful: My Life with Prince, Garcia writes about their son Amir: “I don’t know how to describe the look on my husband’s face. Pure joy.”
The couple got married in February of 1996. Amir was born in October that same year, but only lived for 1 week. “I don’t think he ever got over it, I know I haven’t.” Garcia said in the interview.
