New Dan Fogelberg Tribute CD
Dan Fogelberg passed away over 10 years ago but his music lives on, and is still as popular as ever.
Get ready for a new tribute CD featuring a lineup of big stars singing his biggest hits.
A Tribute to Dan Fogelberg will be released on November 17.
The 14 track collection, recorded over the course of several years, includes contributions from The Eagles, Train, Michael McDonald, Amy Grant, Jimmy Buffett, and even the late Donna Summer and Dobie Gray.
The album was produced in part byFogelberg’s widow, Jean and his longtime friend and manager, Irving Azoff.
Train covered one of Fogelberg’s most famous songs, “Same Old Lang Syne,” for this album. Lead singer Pat Monahan said, “Dan was one of the writers that influenced what I try to do, connect to people emotionally. He did it in a way that seemed effortless.”
Dan Fogelberg died of prostate cancer in 2007. He was only 56.
