Rob Thomas is still releasing new music these days, but we haven’t heard anything from Matchbox Twenty in years.  I honestly didn’t think they were still together.  The same with Counting Crows.  But today, I was proved wrong.

A brand new Matchbox Twenty/Counting Crows tour, called “A Brief History of Everything” was just announced.

It will begin on July 12th in Washington and wrap up October 1st in Texas.  Tickets will go on sale on Friday, March 31.  PRESALE TICKETS are on sale now using code CROWS17 at LiveNation.

In a statement, Rob said, “No matter what I will ever do, nothing feels like home as much as playing these songs with these guys and it never will.”
