Madonna Purchases Palace In Portugal
The Queen of Pop is moving out of the country!
Madonna has purchased a $6.4 million palace in Portugal.
Reports say it is to help with her son David‘s soccer career.
The “Material Girl” bought the Quinta do Relogio property in Sintra.
The Sun newspaper reports Madonna first visited the country in March and fell in love with it. Fans also loved seeing her as well.
An unnamed insider told the newspaper, “It’s a stunning building in the hilltops with a huge number of bedrooms and bathrooms all decorated in striking Islamic style.”
According to the home’s Wikipedia page, the home has been vacant for some time and has fallen into disrepair. Madonna most likely will have to get some work done to it before she moves in.
No word on if Madge will sell her current New York home or if she plans on keeping it when she comes back to the United States. The move should be complete before the beginning of the next school year this September.
This relocation will also position her closer to her son Rocco, who lives in England with his father, Guy Ritchie.
Daughter, Lourdes, is planning to stay in the New York area. Maybe she can look over the place for mom.
