Linkin Park Cancels Tour After Singer’s Death
The band Linkin Park has cancelled their North American tour a day after their lead singer, Chester Bennington, was found dead.
A statement from Live Nation reads, “We are incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of Chester Bennington. The Linkin Park One More Light North American Tour has been cancelled and refunds are available at point of purchase. Our thoughts go out to all those affected.”
The Los Angeles Coroner’s office says Bennington hanged himself from a bedroom door in his home.
A suicide note was not found. An autopsy is expected to be done soon.
Linkin Park is best known for hits “In the End,” “Numb” and their newest single, “Heavy.”
