Will Kelly Clarkson Return To American Idol?
As reported last week, American Idol is coming back to television in 2018, and ABC might want Kelly Clarkson to be one of the judges on the show.
It’s hard to believe, Kelly was the very first American Idol way back in 2002. The show has also helped to launch the careers of Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, Adam Lambert and Jennifer Hudson.
According to TMZ, ABC has expressed “serious interest” in signing Kelly as a judge and it seems that she is just as interested to join the show.
Auditions will be based at Walt Disney World, putting an end to the judges having to travel to different cities to audition the contestants.
If Kelly ends up a judge she will follow in the footsteps of former judges including Paula Abdul, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Harry Connick Jr., Keith Urban, and Jennifer Lopez.
