Is David Hasselhoff Returning To TV?

With the exception of our favorite commercial ever, it has been years since we’ve seen David Hasselhoff on television.
If the rumors are true, the former Knight Rider and Baywatch star could be joining the reboot of American Idol when the show returns to ABC next year.
There’s nothing official yet, but earlier this week TMZ reported they were having trouble filling all 3 (or possibly 4) judges seats.
So far, Katy Perry is the only confirmed judge.
An insider told New York Daily News, “David is interested in the role and his management have made contact with the show’s executives with a view to working out a deal.” Fortunately, he already has judging experience. You may remember he was a judge on America’s Got Talent from 2007 to 2010.
Other big names in the running to be judges include Charlie Puth, Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, and former “Idol” judge Keith Urban.
