Horror Director Tobe Hooper Dead At 74

Tobe Hooper, best known for directing Texas Chainsaw Massacre has died. He passed away of natural causes in Sherman Oaks, California at the age of 74.
Other credits included Poltergeist, Salem’s Lot and Billy Idol’s “Dancing With Myself” music video.
Hollywood is taking to social media to send condolences. John Carpenter called Tobe “a kind, decent man,” while Stephen King said he “did a terrific job directing the ‘Salem’s Lot’ miniseries.”
