Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape Of You’/’No Scrubs’ Mashup

Yes, every time I hear “Shape of You” I can’t get it out of my head, and keep singing it over and over again. That’s not a bad thing, it’s a great earworm. Ed Sheeran has already hit number 1 with it, and sold millions of copies, but now the singer has added 3 new writers to its credits.
Billboard reports, the song’s pre-chorus (“Boy, let’s not talk too much / Grab on my waist and put that body on me”) has been compared to the ’90s hit song “No Scrubs” from TLC for similar lyrical rhythm (“No, I don’t want no scrubs / A scrub is a guy that can’t get no love from me”).
Sheeran added the “No Scrubs” co-writers Kandi Burruss, Tameka “Tiny” Colette and Kevin “She’kspere” Briggs to the song’s credits.
Kandi, currently starring on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, celebrated the news on Instagram.
