Beyoncé Grants Teen’s Final Wish
Alief Hastings High school student, Ebony Banks, from Houston, Texas had her dream come true yesterday when she received a Facetime call from her idol, Beyoncé.
Banks has a rare stage four cancer, and has spent most of her senior year at a local cancer center. Earlier this month, the school district held an early graduation ceremony for Banks, whose nickname is “Ebob.”
For the ultimate graduation present, Banks’ friends and classmates created the hashtag #EBOBMEETSBEYONCE on social media so that she could meet with Beyoncé in an effort to help make one of her biggest dreams come true.
According to People magazine, the “Single Ladies” singer contacted Ebony yesterday.
Thank you, Beyonce for taking the time to call a young fan…and we’re thinking of you, Ebob! Please keep battling!
