Dancing With The Stars Winner Announced
Fifth Harmony‘s Normani Kordei was the predicted frontrunner to win the Dancing With The Stars Mirrorball Trophy during the season 24 finale last night, but in a shocking turn of events she was eliminated.
During her ten weeks on the show, Normani consistently turned in strong (and sometimes perfect) performances with her partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy.
Last night, Normani and Val performed a tango and foxtrot which brought them a perfect score, but that wasn’t enough to bring home the trophy. When the votes were tallied she ended up coming in third place and was sent home.
So who won? NFL star Rashad Jennings came out on top this year.
Rashad and his partner Emma Slater were shocked and happy to take home the trophy because they put a lot of hard work into performing every week.
He told USA Today, “I don’t know if you caught my face or not, but I literally could not believe it at all.”
Season 25 is set to return this Fall. Congratulations to Rashad and Emma!
