Bill Cosby Hires Michael Jackson’s Former Attorney

Bill Cosby has hired a new team of lawyers to help defend himself against numerous assault allegations.
The new lead lawyer is Tom Mesereau, the same man who got Michael Jackson acquitted in his 2005 child molestation trial. Mesereau also defended Suge Knight in his murder case and defended actor Robert Blake in his 2004 murder case.
Former federal prosecutor Kathleen Bliss and attorney Sam Silver have also been added.
This new team of lawyers comes after Cosby’s two former attorneys resigned following the actor and comedian’s mistrial in June.
The first hearing of the retrial of Andrea Constand‘s 2004 sexual assault case is scheduled for today.
