Actress Glenne Headly Dead at 62
Actress Glenne Headly, best known for starring in Dick Tracy, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Mr. Holland’s Opus, has died at the age of 62
She was also starring in Seth Rogen‘s comedy series Future Man on Hulu at the time of her death.
Variety reports her representative released this statement: “It is with deep sorrow that we confirm the passing of Glenne Headly. We ask that her family’s privacy be respected in this difficult time.”
She was married to John Malkovich from 1982 to 1988 and also starred in many plays in Los Angeles and played Dr. Abby Keaton on ER and Lindsay Lohan’s mother in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.
Glenne is survived by her husband Byron McCulloch and son Stirling. Many fans and friends have been reacting to her death on social media. No cause of death has been released yet, but TMZ reports she may have visited a hospital last week with complications from blood clots.
