Ben Affleck Staying In Gotham

This week rumors began swirling that Ben Affleck was being “phased out” as Batman, but those reports are not true. Affleck himself shot down the rumors saying he’s “thrilled” to play the “coolest” superhero going forward.
Despite those rumors, Ben won’t be leaving Gotham any time soon.
Affleck told People, “Batman is the coolest f—ing part in any universe, DC, Marvel. I’m so thrilled to do it.”
Aside from liking the job, Affleck added that Warner Brothers executives also told him they wanted him to stay on as Batman.
Affleck will next star as the Caped Crusader in “Justice League – Part One,” which arrives in theaters November 17th.
