Adam West, TV’s Batman, Dead At 88

Holy Sad News Batman!
Adam West, star of TV’s Batman and of course Mayor of Quahog on Family Guy, has died after a short battle with leukemia.
Adam died last night at his home in Los Angeles according to TMZ. He was 88.
His family released a statement, saying, “Our dad always saw himself as The Bright Knight, and aspired to make a positive impact on his fans’ lives. He was and always will be our hero.”
West died peacefully surrounded by his family and is survived by his wife Marcelle, 6 children, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Batman ran for three seasons on ABC from 1966 to 1968 but has been shown in re-runs ever since. His career spanned over 7 decades and he appeared in over 60 films and hundreds of TV shows.
