Olivia Newton-John Cancels Tour Due To Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Olivia Newton-John has announced the cancellation of the rest of her tour saying that she has breast cancer that has progressed to her lower back.
A statement posted to her Facebook page says she is postponing her June tour dates in the U.S. and Canada.
Olivia plans to undergo radiation treatment in the near future.
“I decided on my direction of therapies after consultation with my doctors and natural therapists and the medical team at my Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre in Melbourne, Australia.”
According to the Wellness Centre website, she was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992 and had been well and cancer free for many years.
The Facebook post mentions that Olivia is “confident she will be back later in the year, better than ever” and will likely resume touring.
