Is The Taylor Swift/Kanye West Feud Real?

Like most Taylor Swift fans, we can’t get enough of her new song “Look What You Made Me Do.”   As we reported earlier in the week, Taylor’s new album drops on November 10th.  Some people have noted that is the 10th anniversary of the passing of Kanye West‘s mother, Donda.

Taylor and Kanye have had their share of jabs at each other since the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when he ran up to the stage and interrupted Taylor saying that Beyonce’s video was the best of all time.

A representative for Taylor Swift’s record label is denying any correlation between the release date and the anniversary of her death.  Universal Music Group insists any connection between the two dates is purely a coincidence.

The publicist told People, “It is standard practice that releases come out on Fridays and we locked in this release date based on other Universal Music Group releases.”

Even though there might not be a direct link to Kanye, in the lyrics of the song Taylor mentions “a tilted stage” which was a prop used by Kanye on his tour last year.

Do you think they hate each other or is the feud just created by rumors?  Let us know in the comments below.
