Joni Sledge Dead At Age 60
Joni Sledge, member of the group Sister Sledge died yesterday at her home in Phoenix, Arizona. She was 60 years old. No cause of death has been released.

Sister Sledge formed in 1971 with sisters Debbie, Joni, Kim & Kathy and are best known for their huge 1979 hit “We Are Family” which hit the number one on the Disco and R&B charts and number two on the pop charts that year.
