Gwen Stefani Admits To Getting Dirty

While we’re all used to seeing Gwen Stefani all glammed up, she says when it comes to spending time with boyfriend Blake Shelton on his Oklahoma ranch, she likes to get down and dirty just like everyone else.
In an interview with Marie Claire she says, “It’s very tribal. Blake has a sister, she comes with her kids. We cook and get muddy and dirty. There are ATVs. Being a mother of three boys, it’s kind of the perfect place. Everything is real now, whereas before, things didn’t seem so real.”
In the same interview, Gwen also opens up about her split from ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. Although, at the time she might not have been happy about it, she says she now believes it was “meant to happen.”
“For a long time, I could not understand why I’d had so much heartache in my life. What I learned was that my heartbreak was supposed to happen, that it was my purpose to write about and share my story.”
