Beyoncé’s “Lemonade” Wins A Peabody Award

Congratulations are in order for Beyoncé! Her “visual” album, Lemonade, was among this year’s Peabody Award winners in the Entertainment category. It joins 6 other TV shows including Atlanta, Better Things and Veep that are being recognized by the Peabody Awards Board of Jurors.
The award winners will be celebrated at a gala event on May 20th in New York. The event will be recorded for a television special to air on both PBS and Fusion networks on June 2nd at 9 PM Eastern. Rashida Jones, a previous Peabody winner for Parks and Recreation will host.
Documentary winners were announced earlier this week, winners in News, Radio/Podcast, Children’s, Education, and Public Service will be revealed on April 25th.
