A lawsuit filed this week claims Dean McKillen and Cuesta Estate, the builders of Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s $88-million Bel Air mansion, skipped paying Qwest Engineering for over $200,000 worth of work on the house before it was sold to the superstar couple.

According to TMZ, Qwest claims McKillen and Cuesta asked them to do all the excavating on the house and carve out a space for a future basement which took about 6 weeks. When the work was finished, Qwest says they were never paid the $205,337 they were owed.

McKillen and Cuesta apparently only paid only a small fraction of the home’s purchase price before demolishing it and re-selling it to the Carters for a major profit.
