Kristi
Stewart hails from Tulsa, Oklahoma!
Kristi has more than 24 years experience in the media and voice
over industry.
Having worked as an Associate Producer of News for KJRH-TV in
Tulsa, Promotions Manager at WKY radio in Oklahoma City, and
Sponsorship Manager for Rogers Community TV in Toronto…Kristi’s
background is one that lends itself to understanding the “ins and
outs” of the industry.
Kristi
fell in love with voice work years ago after a fellow co-worker said
she had a “nice voice and should try it sometime.”
Kristi is also a singer and has a background in theatre and
enjoys performing before a live audience.
She’s also had experience acting in several television and
film productions.
Among her most memorable roles: Playing a television
reporter opposite Matt Dillon in the Walt Disney movie “TEX”,
which was filmed in her hometown of Tulsa.
Kristi
has lived and worked in Toronto, Ontario for more than 16 years.. and
was most recently known for her work as the National Female Voice for
the Global Television Network in Canada.
She has also produced and hosted her very own cable television
series and can be heard on hundreds of “on-hold messages” across
Canada and in the U.S.
One of her dreams was to land a part as a “voice” in an
animated film or cartoon, and just recently that dream became a
reality.
Kristi was cast in a new iPOD series drama entitled: SILENT
UNIVERSE, where she plays the part of MAY, a quirky, and somewhat
wired explosives expert working in space!
She’s also had the chance to perform as the voice of Laura
Bush and a “bimbo” on a demo for a possible animated series.
Kristi
still dreams of one day landing an acting role in a
western movie… but for now…doing voicework, being a part of
the Lite Favorites team and Mom to her 10 year old Hockey player
son… are enough to keep her satisfied!
