What happened to creating new ideas?  I guess if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

King of the Hill may be the next show to return to the television screen in the form of a reboot.

Variety reports FOX is in talks to bring the animated series back.

They have reportedly had preliminary conversations with co-creators Greg Daniels and Mike Judge.

Network CEO Dana Walden said, “I would like to explore that. Given what’s going on in the country, I think they had a point of view about how those characters would respond.”

Walden goes on to say that Greg and Mike are excited at the thought of bringing the show back, but are also both busy so “it’s about finding time.”

King of the Hill originally ran on FOX from 1997 to 2009 and focused on Hank Hill, his propane business and his family living in Texas.

Would you be ready to watch a King of the Hill reboot? Or do you think we should just let it go.  Family Guy has seen much success since they brought that back.  Let us know in the comments below.
