Has ‘The Biggest Loser’ Been Cancelled?

Have you been waiting for the next season of The Biggest Loser? Don’t hold your breath. In case you missed it, the show’s resident doctor, Robert Huizenga, claims NBC has cancelled the show.
The Daily Mail reports Dr. Huizenga is currently in a legal battle with former contestant Joelle Gwynn, who claims the doctor gave her illegal diet pills while she was on the show. Now, in official documents Dr. Huizenga says “Biggest Loser” was cancelled because of Gwynn’s allegations.
NBC has refused to comment on this saying, there is “no update at this time about a future season.”
Another former contestant Tara Costa still looks great 8 years after competing on season 7 of the program.
She posted on Facebook, “I didn’t just reach my goals on the Biggest Loser, but I started a new way of living that I will not give up on. I am bringing my leadership experience and enthusiasm to Orangetheory Fitness Danbury to show you all what is needed to find YOUR new you.”
