Aaron Carter Discusses DUI Arrest

As we previously reportedAaron Carter was arrested in Georgia over the weekend accused of driving under the influence and drug possession.

On Twitter he made claims that the marijuana that was found in his car was prescribed for anxiety.

According to TMZ, Aaron failed field sobriety tests and talked to himself throughout the encounter.

Aaron apologized to his fans for the appearance he missed, and said the “truth will come out.”

After Aaron’s was made public, his brother Nick Carter tweeted that he was there for Aaron and he would help him “get better.”

Aaron tweeted a statement in part saying if his brother cared so much, “why wouldn’t he call me directly and have a conversation instead of making this about him through a very public forum?”
